Inge De Muynck, the designer behind Lio Jewelry, is a fashion lover by birth and a Jewelry designer by conviction. Born in 1972 in Ghent, she still lives there today, being constantly on the lookout for new trends, styles and colours in this wonderful and exciting city that she loves.

Inge creates jewels for women who celebrate their female nature. Delicate and fragile on the one hand but at the same time loud and colourful on the other. There are so many wonderful aspects of being a woman.

With every new collection Inge will go out to find the stones with the most vibrant colours, such as coral, coloured agath, and many others to see if they match with the collection theme. Every time it’s a journey, but one worth taking. Since it combines so well with just about every colour and because of the affection she has towards the material, Inge’s main working material is silver.

Besides colour and fragility, the collection also shows that humour is another important aspect in her Jewelry. We shouldn’t take ourselves too seriously. Besides precious stones Inge also works with epoxy. Main ingredient is a picture, be it of a Diva, a pinup model or Alice in Wonderland. Spice that up with some colour and you’ll find yourself with a lovely and fun pair of earrings or a necklace.
